The RPM3 jazz trio repertoire draws from the Great American Songbook, jazz classics, with some Brazilian gems and pop tunes for good measure. The trio is oriented around the rich sonority of Tony Corman's M3 guitar, seven strings tuned symmetrically to produce lush harmonies that are impossible with a conventional approach. Tony is joined by top Bay Area jazz bassists and drummers, and the trio has performed at such notable Bay Area venues as Rigger's Loft, Dashe, Urban Cellars, Anaviv, Jillie's, Campovida, and Club 1220.
